I attended the University of Iowa from 2011 to 2018, completing pharmacy school from 2014 to 2018. I’m a Hawkeye through and through. During my APPEs—where my emergency medicine (EM) preceptor was also an Iowa alum—and through a then-new EM elective, I discovered my passion for emergency medicine.

After graduation, I left UICOP to pursue a PGY1 residency at NorthShore University Health System in Illinois, followed by a PGY2 in EM in Sarasota, Florida. I remained in Sarasota through the COVID-19 pandemic and later transitioned to the new Venice location to help open the hospital. There, I established emergency medicine pharmaceutical services and currently serve as the EM clinical specialist.

I live in Southwest Florida with my husband, daughter, and two dogs. Work keeps me busy, but I cherish every moment spent soaking up the sun with my family.
