A student's cost of attendance (COA) is an estimate of the expenses they may have while attending the University of Iowa. It includes a number of factors related to attending pharmacy school including living expenses, books, supplies, transportation, and other miscellaneous costs. The estimated COA figures reflect modest but adequate expenses based on research conducted by the UI Office of Student Financial Aid.  While actual expenses of individual pharmacy student will vary, the estimated cost should assist pharmacy students in planning their budget.

If admitted, a non-refundable tuition deposit of $250 is required to hold a college admission seat. The deposit will be applied towards your PharmD tuition.

Please consult the Registrar's page for current tuition rates and additional required fees for more information. Students may view their assessed UI tuition and fees each semester through their MyUI account. Students will pay the amount based upon four years of enrollment.

Resident/Nonresident Classification
