Mary C. Schroeder, PhD
Introduction
Dr. Schroeder received her BS in physics from Texas A&M University and a PhD in economics from Emory University. She currently holds an appointment in the Division of Health Services Research.
Dr. Schroeder's research interest include the economics of health and healthcare, particularly how information, incentives, and uncertainty affect treatment decisions and population health. Her work has focused on the two leading causes of death: cancer and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Schroeder uses quantitative and qualitative methods to study real-world decisions and the impact of treatment choices on health outcomes.
