Dr. Jacobsen is originally from Elk Horn, Iowa and graduated from EH-K High School in 1994. He attended Dana College in Blair, NE and earned a B.A. in Biology in 1998. While at Dana he was active in varsity basketball, track & field, and cross-country. Dr. Jacobsen completed his Doctorate in Pharmacy from Creighton University in 2002. He completed a primary care specialty residency at University of Iowa Health Care in 2003 and is currently a clinical pharmacy specialist in Ambulatory Care and clinical associate professor in the Division of Applied Clinical Science in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science at the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy.
