Stevie Veach
Introduction
Dr. Stevie Veach, PharmD, BCACP is clinical associate professor at The University of Iowa College of Pharmacy and clinical pharmacist at MercyOne Pharmacy in Dubuque, Iowa. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2006 from The University of Iowa (UI) and went on to complete a PGY1 Community Pharmacy Residency with the UI College of Pharmacy and Mercy Family Pharmacy. Following residency, Dr. Veach practiced at CarePro Pharmacy, serving as the pharmacy’s clinical director, preceptor for pharmacy students and residents, and diabetes education program coordinator. Her passion for patient care and mentoring students and residents led Dr. Veach to transition to a clinical faculty position with the UI College of Pharmacy and assume the directorship of the PGY1 Community-based Pharmacy Residency Program. Her primary professional interest is advancing patient care services delivered by pharmacists in the community setting. She serves as the Quality Assurance Chairperson for the Iowa Community Pharmacy Enhanced Service Network (CPESN) and Practice Transformation coach for Flip the Pharmacy. Dr. Veach is an active member of several state and national professional pharmacy organizations, including the Iowa Pharmacy Association, the American Pharmacist Association, the National Community Pharmacist Association and American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy.
