Bowen returned to California upon graduation. He lives in San Jose, California with his wife Jean, and their son Theodore. In his spare time, Bowen enjoys playing Legos with Theodore.

Palliative Care Certificate Impact: The Palliative Care Certificate program has made a significant impact on me and my career. I strongly believe that participating in this program made me a better pharmacist. Throughout this program, I learned from and worked with a group of truly impressive individuals. I had remarkable mentorship and support from my professors, preceptors, as well as my fellow program participants. The overall learning experience helped me improve my clinical skills. Even though I work in the retail setting, I still frequently utilize what I have learned from this program in my daily work, especially in those pain management-related cases.
