Brittany Faley is a Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner in Pain Management at the Kansas City VA Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. She completed her PGY1 training at UnityPoint Health - Allen Hospital in Waterloo, IA, from 2019-2020 and her PGY2 Pain Management/Palliative Care training at the West Palm Beach VA Health Care System in West Palm Beach, FL, from 2020-2021. Dr. Faley serves as an APPE, PGY1, and PGY2 preceptor. She serves as the current chair of the KCVA Facility Pain Committee and is the co-lead for the KCVA Residency Wellbeing Program.

Palliative Care Certificate Impact:  I have been able to expand my clinical practice to include providing symptom management alongside chronic pain management to the Veterans I serve. Additionally, I use the self-care skills I developed from the certificate program in my everyday clinical practice and share these skills with all the pharmacy learners who complete my learning experience.
