Palliative Care Certificate Impact: Pediatrics and critical care are the best places to exercise my palliative care training. These settings come with challenging situations for patients and families alike, and my training has reinforced the holistic approach to patient care. This certificate program has helped me feel confident and capable in a variety of areas, especially pain management and creative medication utilization to help patients and parents achieve the goals they have for their own or their child’s care.
