Kaitlyn Mulder received a bachelor's degree in biology from Simpson College prior to completing her pharmacy education at the University of Iowa. Kaitlyn is currently a PGY1 pharmacy resident at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. Current areas of interest include oncology and critical care.

Palliative Care Certificate Impact: The palliative care certificate has equipped me with a skillset to help provide compassionate care to patients in my practice. I feel comfortable making recommendations to my team regarding pain and symptom management, as well as deprescribing, to name a few. Most importantly, the certificate has taught me resilience and the impact of holding space for patients and their families.
