Kali Jensen completed her PharmD at the University of Iowa in 2025. She is completing a PGY1 acute care residency at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California. She is excited to continue her education and see a wide variety of practice settings.

"I think the palliative care certificate helped me focus on patient care and better prepared me for my future career. I learned so much about taking care of patients and feel like I am better able to take care of patients. I also learned a lot about communication with patients and other members of the patient care team. I believe I will become a more well-rounded pharmacist due to my participation in the palliative care certificate."
