Biography

Meghan is originally from New Lenox, Illinois. She earned her PharmD and Palliative Care Certificate from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy in May 2025. Following graduation, Meghan joined the University of Kentucky HealthCare team as a PGY1 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Resident. In the future, she plans to pursue a PGY2 residency and aspires to practice as an Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist.

"During my time as a Hawkeye, the Palliative Care Certificate had a profound impact on my education and meaningfully shaped my approach to patient care. The training deepened my appreciation for holistic care and strengthened my understanding of what it means to deliver patient-centered treatment. Throughout the program, I came to recognize that one of a pharmacist’s most powerful tools is the ability to listen. Listening brings clarity, perspective, and the insight needed to truly meet a patient’s needs. I am confident that the skills and values I gained will continue to guide my care for patients and their families throughout the rest of my career."
