After graduation from pharmacy school and the palliative care certificate program, Meredith completed her PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at the West Palm Beach VA Healthcare System and her PGY2 oncology pharmacy residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Meredith is currently practicing as an inpatient clinical pharmacist at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics specializing in malignant hematology, oncology, and stem cell transplant.

Palliative Care Certificate Impact: The biggest impact the palliative care certificate has had on my approach is to keep in mind the whole patient including their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. I also feel more equipped to answer doctors' and patients' questions related to symptoms of cancer, especially regarding pain management.
