Student pharmacists from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy spent their Valentine’s Day providing health screenings and education at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The event, sponsored by the UI’s chapter of the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP), provided blood pressure screenings and cardiovascular disease education to Hawkeye basketball fans. Additionally, students were able to provide counseling on medication adherence, as a part of the Script Your Future Challenge.
