Randy McDonough, '00 PharmD, '97 MS, '87 BSPh, and co-owner of Towncrest Pharmacy, was recently featured in an article in Pharmacy Times, highlighting the work done by Towncrest Pharmacy to make clinical interventions a priority. The study revealed that after 12 months, Towncrest was statistically significant in improving clinical measures such as adherence, persistence, and the number of patients taking high-risk medications. Results also revealed that the pharmacy saved the payer around $2.4 million for the year across those 600 patients. 

Randy is an adjunct professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science, as well as co-owner and director of Clinical Services at Towncrest Pharmacy.
