University of Iowa Pharmaceuticals (UIP), a division of the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy, recently assisted Rowpar Pharmaceuticals, Inc. with the development of its new ClōSYS® Silver toothpaste.
UIP provided various aspects of product development on a contractual research basis. ClōSYS® Silver toothpaste is formulated for Adults 55+ and contains both stabilized chlorine dioxide and sodium fluoride. According to Rowpar, the unique formulation of ClōSYS® Silver toothpaste promotes mouth health, enhances remineralization of enamel, reduces re-growth of biofilm, kills harmful bacteria, and reduces oral malodor.
Dr. Jim Ratcliff, CEO of Rowpar, "We are pleased with the latest result of our collaborative relationship with the University of Iowa Pharmaceuticals, and College of Pharmacy. UIP offered Rowpar efficient and effective assistance in product development enabling us to complete the project on time and with the highest quality."
