Staff Spotlight is an initiative sponsored by the College of Pharmacy Staff Council to celebrate the incredibly talented staff within the college and to facilitate awareness and understanding of the unique individuals who make up the pharmacy family. Staff members in a variety of roles and departments will be featured on a rotating basis.

This month, we are learning about Holly Lauer, an administrative services coordinator in External Relations.

Tell us about your role at the College of Pharmacy.

I am an administrative services coordinator in External Relations. Some of my main duties include updating the building monitors/kiosks, creating events on the College of Pharmacy website, taking photos at events and assisting with collegiate event planning.

What is your favorite thing to do in the summer?

My favorite thing(s) in the summer involve me either on a golf course, on a boat or by a pool!

What’s the first thing on your ‘bucket list’ and why?

The first item on my bucket list is to visit Hawaii again. My husband and I have visited two of the islands so far and I hope to visit them all!

What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to spend time with family and friends (especially my little dog, Daisy), go for walks, travel, golf and decorate/bake anything sweet (cake, cupcakes, etc.)!
