The College of Pharmacy will host admitted students for the Class of 2028 on: April 29, 11 a.m.–2 p.m. May 3, 11 a.m.–2 p.m. Students will be provided valuable insights into life at the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy, and given opportunities to connect with future classmates and start building the foundation for a successful college experience.

College of Pharmacy student members of Kappa Psi will be picking up trash along its adopted highway location, a two-mile stretch on Hwy 1 North of Iowa City. Pharmacy students can sign up to help here.

UI-SSHP is collaborating with the Iowa City Public Library to present on caffeine and its effects with a focus on teenagers and parents.  This event is geared towards educating teenagers on the consumption of caffeine and the possible effects on the body. This event will include a brief presentation, a trivia game, and answering caffeine/health related questions. This insightful panel will discuss forging partnerships for community-based solutions to advance health equity. The shared vision and values of the community will be emphasized, empowering individuals to shape outcomes actively. The importance of diverse collaboration will be underscored, including collaborations with public health agencies, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, and businesses.

Seminar Title: "Ripasudil Loaded Liposomes with Transferrin Targeting for Fuchs Endothelial Corneal Dystrophy" All are welcome to attend.

College of Pharmacy student members of the Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS), and the the UI College of Pharmacy Genesis Board will host an etiquette dinner. Professional attire is requested. RSVP by April 12.
