Minding Your Mind
What is good mental health? According to the World Health Organization, good mental health is when you can cope with the normal stresses of life, work productively, and realize your potential. Habits for good brain health include staying well-rested, staying active and hydrated, finding balance in your life, stimulating your brain by learning new things, and living in the moment (mindfulness). Having an attitude of gratitude also can boost your self-esteem. Research shows writing down a few things you're thankful for each day helps you feel more satisfied in life.
