Jordan Cohen, vice president for research and economic development and former dean of the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy, was recently profiled by the Iowa City Press-Citizen.

Matthew Osterhaus, 1980 BSPh, is a candidate for APhA President-Elect. Members should have received their ballots, and voting closes on July 12, 2012.

Linda Kalin, a University of Iowa College of Pharmacy Adjunct Instructor, was recently named one of the 100 Great Iowa Nurses by the Iowa Nurses Association.

Hazel Seaba, associate dean at the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy, was recently presented with the Distinguished Alumni Award from Ferris State University.

On May 9 and 10, the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy celebrated the graduating class of 2012, including Robert Osterhaus (1952 BSPh), one of the University’s honorary doctorate recipients.

The 2012 Senior Dinner and Awards Banquet was held on May 9. Several members of the graduating class were recognized for their accomplishments.

Several College of Pharmacy students were recognized for outstanding achievements at the 2012 Hawkeye Awards.
