Dale Eric Wurster, PhD, professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Experimental Therapeutics, is the recipient of the Ralph Shangraw Memorial Prize. The award, presented by the International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council (IPEC) Foundation, is bestowed upon a person who has provided outstanding research contributions in the study of excipients or excipient-related technology over a number of years.

Mary Schroeder’s students quickly learn that economists care about more than money. After earning a PhD in Economics at Emory University in Atlanta, Schroeder joined the college six years ago. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science (PPS).

Smith Joins College of Pharmacy Faculty

The College of Pharmacy welcomed Ryan Smith, PhD, as an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Experimental Therapeutics, last month. After receiving his bachelor’s in psychology from The Ohio State University, he went on to earn his PhD in neuroscience from OSU.
