Elizabeth Chrischilles, '79 BSPh, '81 MS, '86 PhD, has been appointed the head of the University of Iowa Department of Epidemiology, in the College of Public Health. Her appointment begins July 1, 2017.

Randi Betts is a quality and operational improvement coordinator for University of Iowa Pharmaceuticals (UIP). As part of the quality team, he receives raw materials used in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products. The team samples the materials for analysis and hold them in quarantine until approved for use.
