The University of Iowa College of Pharmacy students took home the first place prize for overall student organization for the fourth consecutive year during Homecoming week, September 23-29.

On Friday, September 28, the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy held its annual Recognition Reception at the UI Athletics Hall of Fame.

On Thursday, September 27, the College of Pharmacy celebrated its latest fully-endowed professorship, the Deborah K. Veale Professorship in Healthcare Policy.

The week of September 23-29 marks the University of Iowa’s 100th Anniversary of Homecoming festivities, and students at the College of Pharmacy are taking part in the university-wide celebration.

When Nicole Brogden, associate, joined the College of Pharmacy faculty last month, she wasn’t exactly new to the University of Iowa. She earned her PharmD from the college in 2007, and a BS in Biology from the UI in 2003. Her connection to the university runs deeper, though.

On August 27, University of Iowa President Sally Mason spent the day at the College of Pharmacy.

Amber Seaton, College of Pharmacy budget/financial officer, has been recognized for her contributions to the college and the University of Iowa with the David J. Skorton Staff Excellence Award for Public Service.

The University of Iowa College of Pharmacy proudly reports that in August 2012, three major financial gifts were announced.

August 13-15, 90 University of Iowa students participated in the Iowa Edge, a program designed for students from underrepresented backgrounds.
